Hi, everyone,
I’m glad I’m
in Soap Challenge Club again this month, this is my fifth challenge and first
time doing Teardrop technique. This is my first time I showed myself to myself
as a real Capricornus))) as I was making this technique with completely inappropriate
recipe. I tested one for being my first soap I would like to sell, so I saw it
everywhere)) After some 4 attempts with this hard and really fast recipe I gave
up)) and here are all my soaps:
This first
soap could be called a Wi Fi Soap or Pregnancy Ultrasound Soap)) depending on
the point of view.
I was testing not only the recipe but my new mold and titanium dioxide (and tried to disperse it in glycerin cha-cha))

The second
one is a Tropical Volcano Soap as this doesn’t even pretend to be a tear))

This third
one was testing one again, I tested my abilities to make soap in hand and black
Australian clay. Australian clay was fine, my abilities were not))) I still can
not take it in hands as it is so so so soft…
So, forth
attempt with fast moving recipe) Mar Azul (Cesaria Evora’s song) or Blue Sea
Soap

I liked the
color combination so much that I repeated it again for my entry this month. Mar Adentro (Alejandro
Amenábar‘s film) or The Sea
Inside Soap. This time with slower recipe

Today I
made last one attempt and I overmixed it so just made a nice soap)))

Thank you, Amy, for such a great idea and good luck to us all!!!!
Nasta
All the soaps are beautiful. But your entry soap is amazing. The colours are awesome.
OdpovědětVymazatAnd I love your mold!!
Thank you, Omneya. I begin to love it too)))))))) And those colors...Mmmmm Adore that green-blue one)))
VymazatThis is so beautiful, Anastasia, all of them really are works of art. Your colors are amazing.
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Marie. I liked those colors very much too)) and very pleased with the result as I didn't know how they would turn out, they are new in my soaps)
VymazatAmazing colors Anastasia! What micas did you use? They really give depth to your design. Lovely choice on your entry, but I especially like the Peacock colors of the last one :)
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Eva. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can help you with micas and its name.. I buy it from a local soapmaker and they have a name of this soapmaker on the package. May be a little bit help could be that almost all of them have word VIBRANT in the name, for instance Green Vibrant or Yellow Vibrant.
VymazatI love your soaps! The colors and the way you've blended them are absolutely beautiful!
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Nathicana, I like the way they turned out)
VymazatBeautiful! I'm not surprised you repeated the colour scheme. It's amazing!
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Anna, I like them in the second attempt even more, they are absolutely different with fluid oil recipe)) and especially after "cleaning up" spa procedures)))
VymazatThese are all beautiful, but your entry, with those amazing colours on the blue background, is super-special!
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Lisa. Colors are really amazing. Unfortunately I didn't manage to make the drop itself as I wanted it to be)
VymazatGreat work! The las-but-one is my favourite thanks to the colours and the beautiful pattern, too. The second one is darling - just as you named it: the volcano...well, all of them are beautiful in some way. :)
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Tapeva, I liked last one too very much. It's a pity I overmixed it)
VymazatExcellent work, Nasta! Glad you finally gave the slower recipe a try! :) The color scheme is gorgeous and a keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing your work with us!
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Amy, I'm quite a stubborn person))) and this was a challenge to make me do it some other way))))))))
VymazatOh my, Anastasia!!!!! Every one of your attempts are absolutely gorgeous, but your entry.... STUNNING!!!!! The way the yellow drops down into the soap makes it look like a vein of gold! I cannot stop looking at it!!! So incredibly well done!! BRAVO!!
OdpovědětVymazat))) Thank you, debi, you are too kind))I like this combnation too))
VymazatI love the way you did the top of the soap with that bright yellow line. The colours are beautiful and really vibrant and you achieved a lovely teardrop shape. Stunning entry. It's really difficult to get it to close up at the top too. :)
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Claire, oh, yes, it is hard)) especially with fast recipe)))) I will try again soon as I really want to learn this technique.
VymazatI love your entry colors and teardrop. The dark blue and the purple ones are also very beautiful. Well done :)
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Carolyn))) It would be better next time)))
VymazatGorgeous, and the ones that did not quite stay like a tear are just as gorgeous, great color concepts all the way through each soap.
OdpovědětVymazatThank you, Key Essence))
